In cases where College Board or ETS believes that someone other than the registered test taker took the test for the registered test taker, and in other cases where required or permitted by law, College Board and ETS may refer the matter to law enforcement and inform the registered test taker’s parents, legal guardian(s), high school, and colleges and other institutions to which the registered test taker requested scores be sent. By registering for a CLEP exam, the registered test taker specifically acknowledges, and agrees to, such disclosure.
You must acknowledge that you understand and agree to College Board’s policies and with the following statement:

DANTES Privacy Statement
The Privacy Act Statement under authority of 5 USC 301 stated purpose is to record the result of these exams, in this case CLEP, for later release to the examinee and other appropriate recipients as specified by the Department of Defense and published in the Federal Register.
You must acknowledge that you understand that agreeing with the statement below authorizes College Board and ETS to release to, and to discuss with, DANTES any information related to any scores resulting from this test, including possible reasons to question whether those scores were the result of any unfair or improper advantages. You also understand that your test scores must reflect your own efforts. Giving or receiving assistance during the test or receiving and/or providing secure test information prior to, during, or after the test is a serious breach of security and may result in cancellation of test scores and possible military action under UCMJ or related laws. Moreover, you understand that, in reviewing questioned scores and before taking action in connection with them, College Board and ETS may withhold those scores and await results of both College/ETS related military investigations or actions.
You understand that DANTES requires you to accept all the conditions above in order to be eligible to participate in the DANTES examination program and that this authorization is mandatory.
CLEP Retest Policy
The retest policy states that a candidate may not retake an exam of the same title within three months of the test date. If you violate the CLEP retest policy, the administration will be considered invalid, your score will be cancelled, and any test fees will be forfeited.
If you are repeating an exam of the same title and have a question regarding the date of the initial administration, you should immediately notify the test administrator.
DANTES-funded military examinees are eligible for only one U.S. government-funded attempt per examination title. Any retest attempts for the same examination title must be funded directly by the test taker.
You must verify that you understand the CLEP retest policy.
